Even when your pet is healthy, Pet Wellness Exams are vital. When treated early, there are issues that can be quickly and cheaply solved. Contact us to learn more about our services and how you can help make a difference in the lives of pets.

Meet The Team
Robert Wright, DVM
Dr. Bob attended WSU and received his DVM license in 1984. He is 1 of 12 veterinarians in his family! Lakewood Veterinary Hospital has been in his family since 1960. When he is not at work, you might see him playing his guitar or cycling around town. Dr. Bob always incorporates humor at the office, if you've ever met, chances are, he has made you laugh or smile!
Nichole, LVT, Manager
Nichole graduated from Pierce College and recieved her tech license in 2016. She has worked with us since 2013. Her interests are anesthesia and venipuncture. She shares her home with a collie, boston terrier, a blind pittie, and 2 cats at the moment. She enjoys spending her time outdoors with her two kids and husband. She is also involved with local rescues volunteering her time helping/fostering pets as needed! She is currently pursing her CVPM certification.
Kaleigh, Vet Assistant
Kaleigh has been with our team since 2022! She came to us wanting to try something new! She has worked up from receptionist to a veterinary assistant, with plans to go to vet tech school in the future! She shares her home with Kirby, her dachshund/chihuahua. In her off time, she enjoys reading, camping, and cosmetology. While at work, she likes making the animals staying with us comfortable, cuddling them, and working with her co-workers!
Jerika, Vet Assistant
Jerika started out with us in 2016. She cares for 1 cat, and 1 dog! While working, she enjoys assisting in surgeries and helping the scared/injured pets feeling safe and comfortable. Outside of working, she spends her time hiking, camping, and writing.
Erin, Vet Assistant/Client Service Representative
Erin joined our team in 2022. She joined already having knowledge in the field and is always eager to learn more! She lives with her dog, Sunday and two bonded kitties. At work, she loves all the kittens and puppies! She is planning to attend vet tech school to obtain her license. For fun, she enjoys gardening, cooking/baking, and snuggling with her fur babies.
Nia, Client Service Representative
Nia started with us in 2023! If you call us, chances are you will hear Nia's smile through the phone! She loves providing our clients with the best help possible. She currently shares her home with one fish, one hampster, a small cat, and a big dog! Eventually, she sees herself as a diagnostic medical sonographer! In her free time, she likes babysitting, baking, and reading.
